Mr. Charles Scerri started to practice accountancy in 1990 as a sole practitioner. Prior to going into private practice Mr. Scerri occupied a managerial post with one of the leading Maltese banks. He later joined a group of companies as a financial controller. He also worked with Price Waterhouse Coopers in the UK.
His professional skills together with the personal attention given to each and every client, enabled him to rapidly increase his client portfolio. This was the basis of the excellent service given to local and foreign clients alike.
As a result, his activity developed in a medium size practice where the selection of highly qualified, reliable and efficient employees is the basis of the firm’s success. It can be said that the practice as is today started in 1995. Following a consolidation of the practice both in terms of staff and clients the firm joined IAPA INTERNATIONAL, an international association of independent accounting and consulting firms. This occurred in August, 2004. The firm has access to financial and fiscal advice from over 165 offices situated in more than 85 countries worldwide.
This acceptance to membership followed strong quality control reviews by the international organization. It also meant that the local firm must continue in its policy of continued improvements of the professional skills of its staff.

At Charles Scerri & Associates we are providing expert financial advice and thus our main resource is our staff. We always endeavor to recruit the best people available without any limitation on cost. This guarantees a sound team of people who are committed to the clients needs in order to offer the optimum financial solutions. The team is continuously trained in order to keep abreast with changes in fiscal legislations and accounting practices.
Only by assuring that the best resources are selected and primed can the firm satisfy the dynamic requirements of our client base. Today the firm has twelve full time employees, five fully qualified accountants and seven highly experienced employees.
PRICING
Our firm boasts that it can provide professional and timely services at affordable prices. We always set our price structures at the start of the work and prior to engaging new clients.
Especially, with new clients we normally hold review meetings within six months in order to discuss with clients both the service given and the billing they are receiving. This in view of any variations in work required from that originally envisaged. Clients are always welcome to discuss pricing issues in order to find mutually acceptable solutions.
